When Ellyse was younger she couldn't get enough of any kind of sport, especially those involving a ball! She played cricket, soccer, touch, tennis, golf, basketball, AFL and athletics.
Her favourite part about playing cricket and soccer is having the chance to meet and form lifelong bonds with so many amazing people from all different walks of life.
Her favourite place to go on holiday is anywhere that has a beach, sunshine and good company!
She will be attending uni in the second half of 2009 studying Economic and Social Sciences.
Ellyse is the youngest person to represent Australia in both Test and ODI cricket. She made her international soccer debut when she was 16, 2 weeks after her cricket debut.
Having grown up on the North Shore of Sydney, sport and physical activity has always been a huge part of her life with both her parents and her brother also being involved in sport.
