Romy grew up on the Northern Beaches and is totally addicted to being by the water. Skiing, sailing, swimming or running by the beach are all her favourite things to do. She now lives with her husband in Bondi.
Romy has completed a number of soft sand races and ocean swims.
Romy loves living in Sydney because of its casual lifestyle, beaches, weather and cosmopolitan feel.
Though growing up largely on the Northern Beaches, Romy was fortunate enough to also live overseas with her family in the Philippines, Japan and London and loves all things Japanese.
Travelling extensively as a child and growing up in a beautiful environment by the beach, surrounded by nature, Romy had a vivid childhood imagination and is inspired by things she see's around her.
Romy loves architecture, art, photography, furniture and travel – naturally, she found an interest in being an interior designer!
Romy's personal style is classic contemporary, but loves design and furniture with character that subtly reflects styles of the past. “Simple and effortless living is what it is all about!”
Romy loves meeting the families they help on Domestic Blitz. Each one has an amazing different story and it is great to hear those stories to keep a good perspective on life.
