Tim Bailey is one of Sydney’s most recognisable faces.

Tim is a journalist, television and radio presenter who has worked with Network TEN and 2Day-FM for the past 16 years.

He is currently the weather presenter on TEN’s First at Five News team, a position he has held for 11 years.

He is one of the most dynamic, versatile and effervescent characters on Australian television.

Tim currently hosts the Golden Guitars Country Music Awards and is a daily guest on Sydney’s top rating Kyle and Jacqui O radio show. He also was selected to do key interviews for the Grand Final of Australian Idol in 2008.

Tim started his journalistic career on the Hobart Mercury and has written sport, environment and industrial relations. He is a second-generation journalist who moved to Queensland to join the Gold Coast Bulletin where he became a feature reporter.

Tim started his own newsagency, selling stories around Australia and internationally, before being head-hunted by Network TEN in 1990.

Tim joined Good Morning Australia as a reporter, a show which was hosted by Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Mike Gibson.

He has hosted various shows on Network TEN including NRG (surfing), Chilli Factor (extreme sport), The Big Breakfast (cartoon-kids), Airtime (basketball), Vodafone Beach Volleyball Tour and The $20 Challenge (reality).

He has also covered the Commonwealth Games in Canada, six Melbourne Cups, Bathurst and the Indy Car Carnival.

Tim is a polished and professional Master of Ceremonies with a decade of experience in the corporate market place. He has existing relationships with some of the biggest companies in Australia including Nestle, Vodafone, Bolle and Rip Curl.

Tim is a keen surfer and has competed in four Sydney to Hobart yacht races. Tim is also a Patron of the 130 year old Manly Warringah District Cricket Club.
